The Israel Genealogical Society has produced several genealogical databases,
some are on-line, some are available on a CD-ROM.
IGS Consolidated Surname Index has surnames encountered in all its databases. Find out now if a surname is mentioned in a database, and how many occurrences of this surname exist in each database! This way, you'll know ahead of time if it worth acquiring the CD-ROM. Just enter the surname you are searching for. You may use exact spelling or soundex (Daitch Mokotoff soundex), or others. Please note that there are one or more occurrences of a surname per record. |
