Burial Societies (Hevra Kadisha) in the State of Israel
courtesy of the Ministry of Religions September 2003, updated January 2007
The following list of burial societies was received in Hebrew from the Ministry of Religious Affairs. We have translated it for the convenience of those of you who do not read Hebrew and wish to write to them. A number of cemeteries in Israel have started to computerize their listings. At those cemeteries that have completed the process, a computer can be found at the entrance to the cemetery for use by the public.

This list does not include those responsible for the burials at various communal settlements such as kibbutzim and farming communities

You will need the Acrobat Reader to read the following files.
