Description of Resources
The Historical Archives of Petach Tikva is under reorganization from 2003.The archival description is made according to the ISAD(G). The Metadata is being built in archival application LMS+ of TOP System. There is a simple vocabulary composed by archivists, which is updated during the Metadata input. Our permanently updated Data Base contains the list of the Petach Tikva pioneers, the Jewish family names which are spelled in the same manner they used to be spelled in the XIX-th century. There is a plan to build a Thesaurus of these manes.
