Indexing of the Names Researched by the Late Dr. Paul Jacobi: Founded within the Numerous Typed Monographs Printed Out by Dr. Jacobi

The center contains the works of Dr. Paul Jacobi - covering approximately 50 years of genealogical/historical research, including:
1. Printed monographs and a great deal of handwritten material of Dr. Paul Jacobi
2. Material of a very high standard, of other genealogical researchers from all parts of the Askenazi world.
3. Many helpful books including a number of genealogy books which were collected by Dr. Paul Jacobi during his many years of research.

The center was created in order to provide public access to the Collections of Dr. Jacobi.
Goal of the research:
1. To continue and expand the collection of books for the purpose of genealogy research, through donations.
2. To continue and expand the collection of high standard genealogy research by researchers throughout the world.
3. To enable grants for Jewish genealogy research for promising researchers as well as experienced researchers from all over the world, after receipt of suitable donations for this purpose.
4. To award an annual world prize for high standard genealogy work.
5. To develop teaching programs for genealogy in primary schools, high schools and university level.
6. To publicize the genealogy research books both in print and on CD-ROM.
7. To extend assistance to inter-disciplinary researchers in the following areas: History, anthropology, sociology, psychology and genetics.
8. To publish a scientific journal of international standard which would publicize research in genealogy and related disciplines.
9. To make available to the Jewish world, through the internet and other modes of communication, the results of the main works of the Dr. Paul Jacobi International Center for Research in Jewish Genealogy, as well as from other centers in the world.
10. The search and research in Jewish Genealogy and other disciplines reside in the public at large - young and old combined.
