משפחת לוי – סיפורי הגירה

סיפורה של משפחה אחת שעלתה לארץ הקודש במאה ה-19, סיפורי אגדות ומחקר, סיפורי אגדות שהתבררו כאמת במחקר.
ההרצאה תעסוק בסיפור המחקר של משפחות לעווי-לוי (Levi, Levy), מרגלית-פרל
(Margolis, Margalit,Pearl) וטייטלבוים-טלבוט (Teitelboim, Teitelbaum, Talbot).
ראשית נעסוק בסיפור העליה לארץ והמגורים בטבריה ובצפת. בהמשך יסופרו סיפוריהם של הענפים השונים-
יצחק טייטלבוים וצאצאיו- יהודים מצפת במרחב הקלטי ואח"כ בסין; צפת-ויילס-הונג קונג-ארה"ב. ד"ר פסח חברוני- הגירתו מן הישוב הישן אל מרכז ההשכלה האירופית ושיבתו אל המהפכה הציונית; ירושלים-ציריך-ירושלים-וינה-ירושלים. סיפורו של פנחס מרגלית- מסעותיו גילוי המרגליות בהודו והגירת צאצאיו; צפת-הודו-אוסטרליה.

סיפורי ההגירה ישולבו בסיפוריהם של דמויות מפתח במשפחה.

בן 35 עוסק בגנאלוגיה כתחביב במשך כ-20 שנה. עורך דין, בעל תואר ראשון ושני ביחסים בין-לאומיים ובעל תואר ראשון במשפטים. מתגורר ברמת גן נשוי לד"ר יעל לבית רוידר (Rujder). נהנה מהמחקר אף יותר מהגילוי (אף שגם בגילוי טמון אושר גדולJ).

The Levi Family – Immigration Stories

The story of one family which arrived in the Holy land in the 19th century, myth and stories, research and myth stories which turned out to be true in the course of time.

The lecture will outline the research history and history of the Levi (Levy), Margalit (Margolis/Pearl), and Talbot (Teitelboim/Teitelbaum) families.

First we will learn about their aliya (immigration) to Eretz Israel and their lives in Tiberias and Zefat (Safed), later, the stories of the different branches will be told.

Isaac Teitelbaum and his descendants, Jews from Zefat in the Celtic Rim and later in China: Zefat- Wales – Hong-Kong- USA.

Dr. Pessach Hevroni- his immigration from the Old Yishuv to the centre of European Education and back to the Zionist revolution: Jerusalem – Zurich – Jerusalem – Vienna – Jerusalem.

The story of Pinhas Margalit and his descendants- Eretz Isreali Jews in Australia: Zefat – India – Australia.
